This workshop is for all patients who will be undergoing chemotherapy. Their families, friends and caregivers are all welcomed and encouraged to attend.
Many times patients come to the class for information and end up connecting with other patients/family members, comparing notes and establishing connections that provide support.
The class covers general topics including how chemotherapy works, common side effects, and effective self-care measures. In addition, we try to customize the class to specific concerns that people attending have while in an atmosphere that is more like a group discussion than a lecture.
Please Note: Evening workshops are now only available through advance reservation. Please call (650) 725-9456 to reserve a space.
