Robert J. Herfkens, MD Professor of Radiology Director of MRI
Dr. Robert Herfkens is a Professor of Radiology and Director of Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Co-director of PET/CT and Director of the project Destination Digital in the Department of Radiology. He has had faculty positions at UCSF and Duke University and is a past president of the International Society of Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
He is a member of the Radiologic Society of North America, American College of Radiology, Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society, International Society of Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Society of Nuclear Medicine, Society of Body Computed Tomography, and Association of University Radiologists.
He has published over 200 papers. His current research interests include cardiovascular imaging with CT and MRI, fast imaging techniques, and development of techniques for image-guided therapies. |
