Art for Health

Art for Health gives patients and those accompanying them the opportunity to participate in creative projects while in the Infusion Treatment Area.

Participants may explore an interest in drawing, experiment with water colors or simply enjoy the artistic process.   No previous art experience is necessary.

What patients say:

“It was really relaxing—I found a talent I didn’t know I had.  My artwork turned out really nicely.” – D. C.

“I enjoyed the inspiration of expressing myself and having a task to help me ease my mind.  It was fun showing the end result with my daughter and staff.” – C. A.

“It’s been a pleasant reminder of the gifts that we do have.  It aids in overcoming internal obstacles to attempting something new.  On the path of cancer there are always new challenges to face, so that developing a comfort level in facing change is so critical.” – K. M.
